Quantum design and nanoscale technologies

The group “Quantum designs and nanoscale technologies” led by Dr. Jorge Casanova is a young group that explores applications of quantum technologies in areas ranging from material science and nuclear physics, to biochemistry and medical imaging. In particular, we investigate in nanoscale nuclear magnetic resonance with solid-state quantum devices, in the design of high-fidelity quantum information processing methods in different quantum platforms, as well as in classical processing of experimentally harvested data using machine learning and Bayesian methods and neural networks.
