Quantum computing and architectures

The group “Quantum Computing and Architectures”, led by Dr. Mikel Sanz, is a young, motivated and dynamic team whose main research lines are quantum computing and microwave quantum communication and sensing. On quantum computing, our main research interests are developing new quantum algorithms and powerful quantum simulations with a strong focus on experimental implementability in NISQ processors. On microwave quantum communication and sensing, we aim at developing quantum networks for distributed quantum computing, space microwave communication between satellites, and employing propagating quantum microwaves for metrology problems, in particular, parameter estimation.
